There are many companies who organize rafting experiences so we recommend you to look around and find one that suits you. Our choice went on Malduk Adventures as we found them very informative over the phone.
Bring swimwear, a set of dry clothes for when you get back. Also wear good shoes in the raft as the rubber bands keeping you in the boat can be quite stiff and puts a lot of pressure on your feet. We do not recommend you to go barefoot! We also had a waterproof bag to keep car keys and wallet safe from the splashesš
It was a morning in early July 2022 that our happy troop of four got up in the very early hours to travel to the Pick-up point by the river Cetina near OmiÅ”. The organiser sent us the co-ordinates pre hand and it was very easy to find a parking spot at the pick-up point. From Skradin it takes around 1,5 h by car.
From here our guides took us by car to the starting point for our rafting adventure. Here we met up with our companions for the day, an equally adventures family of four from Poland.
We received helmets, life vests and an informative instruction from our skipper about security, how to paddle, team left side commands, team right side commands and team all commands. And then it was time to release our raft into the river wildā¦.
Highlights from the day:

ā¢ The amazing nature and wildlife we paddled thru. Not able to say untouched as there are plenty of rafts passing thru but stillā¦just respect nature and it will respect you back.
ā¢ The exercise. Not sure how our shoulders and arms will feel tomorrow after three hours of paddling.
ā¢ Me jumping from a cliff 5 meters high!
ā¢ Our skipper, this lady was hard, strong, and led us amateurs thru the river in the most confident way.
ā¢ And last but not leastā¦. the āBOMBAā. This one Iām going to let be a secret so you can experience it yourself when you visit.
